Strawberry cheesecake and cream.
gg mayo sandwich (wholemeal), 5-bean salad, side salad.
Ice-cream (2 scoops).
…& the usual PINT of semi-skimmed milk.
Spending this sunny Monday getting my head in gear for the week. All things in the right direction though – a 0.3kg gain this morning, but I’m DISAPPOINTED that it doesn’t quite meet the weekly target I’m aiming for the ‘full recovery’ treatment program. (0.8-1.5kg a week) I can only keep learning and working with what my body, the scales, and the professionals advise…
I think because there is SO much I would like/feel I need to work on (which is quite exciting) in all areas of my life, to make myself capable of live fully without an Eating Disorder, it is also incredibly OVERWHELMING. I feel like my brain is taking part in the ‘Tour de France’, cycling and focusing intensely at too many miles an hour. Which is why I need to save brain power up where I can today, so I can spend time making a plan of how best to spread my time across the week.
Just a quick reminder though to perfectionism: having a plan as a guide is great, but it’s also important to allow for unexpected events or change of plan during the day… everything is fluid.
Be your best trusty guide, but most importantly, and IF ever in doubt…
